Drywall repair and installation in Northwest Indiana
From a single doorknob hole to hanging and finishing a whole basement. The difference between a repair you can see and one you cannot is entirely in the feathering.
What the job includes
- Hang, tape, coat and sand new board to a paint-ready finish
- Cut out and replace water-damaged or crumbling sections
- Patch holes from plumbing, electrical or cable work
- Match existing texture — knockdown, orange peel, or flat
- Re-tape seams and corner bead that have cracked or popped
- Dust containment, because sanding drywall gets everywhere
Signs you need this
- Cracks reappearing in the same corner or seam every year
- Nail pops or tape lifting along a ceiling line
- Soft or stained board under a bathroom or a roof leak
- A finished basement or bonus room still down to the studs
How the work runs
You describe the job
Address, what needs doing, and when you would like it. No phone tag to get a person to come and look, and no account to create first — that happens when you submit.
You get a written quote
An itemised document, not a number over the phone. You read it, and you sign it online if you want it. Nothing starts before that signature.
You watch it happen
Each stage of the work is marked off and photographed by the crew as they go. You can see where the job actually is without asking anybody.
You keep the record
Materials, warranties, permits, photographs and cost stay attached to your property permanently — so the next owner, or your insurer, can see exactly what was done.
We work with a vetted network of licensed, insured contractors across Northwest Indiana.
Common questions
Why do the same drywall cracks keep coming back?
Because the crack is a symptom. Recurring cracks in the same spot usually mean movement — seasonal truss uplift, a settling beam, or a seam that was never taped properly. We look for the cause before we skim over it, otherwise you are paying to hide the same problem twice.
Can you match my existing wall texture?
Usually, yes. Knockdown and orange peel match well. Hand-troweled or older sand-finish textures are harder, and on those we will tell you honestly whether a blended patch or refinishing the whole wall will look better.
How much dust does drywall work make?
A lot, unless it is controlled. We plastic off the work area, run negative air where the job is big enough to warrant it, and vacuum-sand where the finish allows. Expect some fine dust regardless — it is the nature of the material.
